Jennifer Reid Egbe and Jeremy Gaddy Named HFS Partners

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Reid Egbe and Jeremy Gaddy have been named partners in the Firm. “Jennifer and Jeremy joined the Firm as associates after successfully completing our summer clerk program and throughout their years of service have made significant contributions to the Firm,” said John Herndon, Office Managing Partner. “Being asked to join the partnership is a great reflection of their dedication to our clients and the hard work they put into every case.”

In her litigation practice, Jennifer focuses on automotive, product liability, medical malpractice, employment discrimination and general insurance defense, representing a number of clients ranging from Fortune 500 listed companies to start-up businesses.  Jennifer has been recognized by numerous local and national industry groups, including being named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2013, and is currently a member of the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and Women Lawyers Section, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and Magic City Bar Association.  Committed to community service, Jennifer has supported the UAB Minority Health and Health Disparities Research Center, Girls Inc. and the Birmingham City Schools throughout her career.  Jennifer completed her undergraduate studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

In his litigation practice, Jeremy focuses on product liability, retail and hospitality, construction and general insurance defense.  Among other clients, Jeremy represents product manufacturers and distributors throughout the Southeastern U.S., where he has participated in multiple trials that have resulted in defense verdicts.  Jeremy routinely contributes articles to news and trade publications and is currently a member of the Alabama State Bar, Mississippi State Bar, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and Birmingham Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. Jeremy is also an Eagle Scout and is a member of the Holy Family Cristo Rey High School Advisory Counsel. Jeremy received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology and is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law.
